Reiki Healing
What happens in the healing session?
The client lays down and becomes comfortable on a massage table. We began discussing what is going on in their lives. I then instruct the client to close their eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax and become grounded. I then scan their body and chakras for blockages and determine what chakra or area is in need of the most clearing.
I then attune to the healing energy and energy is channeled (usually via the healers’ hands) on and around the body. It is important that no specific outcome is promised. Healers cannot truly do this, as they act merely as a channel to the healing energy. Healing can also be given as distant healing (when the healer is not in the presence of the client), whereby, through attunement and visualization, the healer seeks to promote the wellbeing of and the self-healing of the client.
